Austin Texas’ Restaurant Row knows Tex-Mex!!!

Hello Readers,

I was browsing the Austin Buisness Journal the other day and it looks like Restaurant Row is going to get a little more crowded.

Barton Springs Road, Austin’s de facto “Restaurant Row” for local eateries, is about to get a little more crowded.

Carlos Rivero, the owner of the El Chile/El Chilito restaurants, is opening the second location of El Chilito at 1025 Barton Springs Rd., the former location of Gypsy Italian Bistro. The restaurant is scheduled to open in August.

The Barton Springs restaurant is now the second location for El Chilito, a fast-casual concept that Rivero originated on Manor Road. Last year the company opened an El Chilito in the 900-block of Congress Avenue but the decision was subsequently made to turn that into a full-service El Chile.

“We’ve been waiting to get into South Austin for a while now,” said Rivero. “This location was a home run for us and is the perfect fit for the El Chilito concept.”

The new location will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Restaraunt Row is just one great reason to live in Austin Texas!

Does your Realtor cut the Mustard???

Hello Readers,

It seems like every road you turn down these days you find a home for sale. So what makes your home on the market better than the one down the street…your Realtor.

With modern day technology today’s buyer has almost unlimited access to housing information.
However, in today’s uncertain economy, buyers rely more heavily on the
skills of a top professional agent.

According to the 2008 National Association of Realtors Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers, the
three things today’s home shoppers want MOST from their real estate agent are –

• Help finding the right home to purchase
• Help with the price negotiations
• Help negotiating the terms of the sale

Top Realtors know that advertising their professional skills has never been more vital. According to a recent Research Study of Top Realtors, they invest 3 times as much in advertising as the average agent.
